In SnowDiggers you play one of two bitter enemies (currently only two-player games are supported) who
have been caught together in an avalance, and now have to race eachother throught the debris, up to the
surface.
In the way between you and the top are such things as; snow (which can be shuffled between different places),
iceblocks, rocks, etc - you will get closely aquainted with them all, as they fall on your head and send you
down spinning into the abyss. leaving your sweet dreams of victory behind, to the sound of the sniggering of
your evil opponent!
You can win by either getting first to the surface, or by outpacing your opponent by so much that he has no
chance of winning. -The camera follows the player that is the furthest up; so if one player gets too far
behind, he won't be able to see his character on the screen :)
How to play
You control these two guys either with two joysticks, or one joystick and the keyboard. The players have an
"aim" (rounded rect in respective colors) which shows which block they will manipulate if the Action button
is pressed.
Rocks, ice and barrels can be pushed to mess things up for your enemy, and barrels will automatically fall
downwards if placed on a ledge - rocks will only fall down if on a ledge, and upon a block which is not snow.

This game is chiefly inspired by some old goodies named Ice Climber, Masterblaster and Boulderdash.
The goal is to make it into a frenetic 2-player experience that allows for great party-gaming -
I mean; where ARE all those funny multi-player games we used to beat our buddies in without having to go
home to our respective computers, or drag them together!?
About the barrels, rocks, ice-blocks, etc: I haven't decided what all these different things should 'do'
in the game, yet, but my goal is to make this a light-hearted (read; NotTooDamnDifficult) fast-paced
action/puzzle game where you can either gain advantage by being the fastest with the stick, OR by using
the available blocks to make some fiendish traps for your opponent. With the current, simple set of blocks,
the only things you can really do are to push things in the way for/on the enemy player, but hopefully, more
sophisticated traps will also be possible.
Development status
This game has a bit more work on it coming.. main areas of development are
Graphic polishing
Inventing new types of blocks
Inventing powerups/bonus thingies
Some kind of single-player mode

Just about to drop some snow on the red guy!
Barrels fall easily - I barely touched it!
Yup - jumping And pushing an ice-block
Heh! If I take that Earthquake-bonus, mine enemy is sure to fall!
